John E. Rockwell III, President

John_Rockwell_Headshot_316x400John Rockwell has over 30 years experience leading and owning technical organizations and designing electro-mechanical systems. His work has involved audio and video systems, microwave systems, high-energy lasers, high-power microwaves, pulsed power systems, spectrometers, cryogenic coolers, medical devices, sewn products, and wooden products. He has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Mr. Rockwell spent the first four years of his career doing research and development as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Simon Goldfine, General Manager

Simon is responsible for successful management, operations, and business development at Sierra Peaks Tibbetts. This includes promoting the company values of C Profit in all relationships with customers, partners, and employees. Before joining the company, Simon was a special agent in the Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service for 11 years. In that role he investigated federal cases of passport fraud, visa fraud, and potential espionage, protected two Secretaries of State, the President of Afghanistan, the Dalai Lama, and other dignitaries, and managed security programs at American embassies in China and Serbia. Simon has experience in program management, diplomacy, security, investigations and business operations. His educational background includes a BA in political science and MBA focused in marketing from the University of New Mexico, as well as a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.

Karen Rose, Director of Accounting

Karen is an innovative and driven accounting professional with over 30 years of experience. Having recently relocated to Albuquerque after living in Jacksonville, Florida for over 15 years, she has experience in business consulting, software training, analyzing finances, management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, tax and treasury management. The various industries she has worked in are restaurants, construction, electronic assembly, and security. Karen has a BS in mathematics from the Ohio State University and is pursuing her MBA in business.

Enid Chase, Director of Human Resources

Enid Chase is responsible for Human Resources (HR), including personnel management, recruiting, benefits planning and assisting the accounting team at Sierra Peaks and Marpac. Her studies in fine arts and art history took her to California State University, Florida International University, and the University of New Mexico. Ms. Chase’s diverse skill sets, including set costumer for major motion pictures, office management, individual and corporate taxes, owning and operating a small business are all put to good use at Sierra Peaks.

Barbara Miller, Program Manager

Barbara Miller has over 25 years of experience working with local, state and federal agencies in New York and Washington, D.C. Ms. Miller has expertise managing complex government contracts staffed by highly skilled personnel and understands how to build and maintain relationships with our government customers. Under Ms. Miller’s leadership, the Sierra Peaks’ team in the Fairfax office has received multiple awards and accolades for various achievements. Ms. Miller has strong business planning, organizational and collaborative skills that help to guide our current and future business.
